my name's meg.

once upon a time... over two years ago, there was a cute boy 

who asked me the bravest question in the middle of the swiss alps.

i had no idea it was coming. he had to kneel on both knees
 because on one knee he was shaking too bad. (i melted.)

my name means "pearl," and knowing this, he held up the
prettiest pearl ring.

my answer to his question...?

"yes. a million times yes!"

...and then we did flips in the snow.

since then, our life together has brought nothing but  h a p p y  days and lots of laughter.

here are two things you have to know about me:

1. this blue-eyed boy who popped the question... his name is bry.

2. this adventure we call "life" inspires and intrigues me on a daily basis. 

here, in this tiny corner of the internet, 
i post about things that make me happy. 

so let me tell you a little more about myself... and what makes my happy heart ring.

 i love to travel. 

some of my favorite places in the world are switzerland, prague, spain, italy, and london. 

i'm an overly dedicated journal writer and scrapbooker. i love to write.

i love my fam more than anything and feel so blessed to have 

married into the most incredible family too.

 i love to ski. both water and snow. 

 i love writing music: guitar or piano. and to sing.

  i love art, design, and photography. crafting and creating makes me happy.

 i grew up the biggest tomboy. i love doing anything outdoors, playing any sport, and competing in anything athletic.

 i find adventure in the mountains... or flying over them. ;)

 i love fly fishing and spitting sunflower seeds on the river with my best bud. 

i love my utah utes. 

 i love that my man is still a boy at heart.

 the two trips i love most in the summer are Lake Powell and Hebgen Lake, Montana. 

 i love to read inspiring books. 

 i love fall and spring.

 i love the beach.

i love being able to wake up, put on scrubs, and try to help people get healthier. 

the nursing field is incredible and i love teaching about health.

 i love that my sweetheart asked me to be his forever in the swiss alps. 

 and that he designed my ring to look like the star right above us that night

in lauterbrunnen, switzerland. 

 i love that i married the boy who i literally fell in love with at first sight...who immediately gave his heart back to me and became my most loyal friend. and that we could be sealed for time and all eternity in the salt lake temple.  

and that i'm just his "little girl"
